Rainscreen Facades Training Commission:
CITB is investing £150,000 over the next two years to fund the upcoming Rainscreen Facades Training Commission aimed at Rainscreen Facade Systems Supervisors and Installers.
There is a need to provide training opportunities for supervisors and installers in the rainscreen facades sector and to provide clear pathways and training standards for upskilling rainscreen facades installers across a range of disciplines. CITB plan to address this supporting training providers to deliver rainscreen facades training programmes on site to operatives and supervisors working on live projects.
There will be a Market Engagement Live Event on Tuesday 30th July 11am-12pm, set up to discuss this new planned commission. The link to the event is as follows:
The aim of the live event is to engage with potential providers and share the details of the commission which aims to increase the supply of training for Rainscreen Facade Systems Supervisors and Installers. This event will brief potential providers, outline the commissioning process and also give potential providers the opportunity to ask us any initial questions and provide any feedback they may have. Following on from the event, we expect to invite tenders for the commission in September/ October with a view to awarding contracts by the end of the year.
