This assessment is for plant operators seeking an NVQ/SVQ Specialised Plant & Machinery Operations Level 2, 4, or 5, leading to CPCS Competent Operator (blue) Card, or CPCS Trained Operator (red) Card.
Gaining the relevant NVQ/SVQ will help you change from a Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) Red Trained Operator Card to a Blue Competent Operator Card.
Course content
On-site assessment service
- Profile/skill Match
- At least six months’ experience on category of plant
- Operating category of plant on site to be assessed
- Health and safety knowledge
- Witness testimonies completed by employer or supervisor
- On-site practical assessment (must have at least two observations in workplace)*.
*If you do not pass the practical assessment, the assessor will make specialised recommendations. These include retakes or additional training.
What you get
