This course is for anyone wanting to renew a CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor Card.
It refreshes your existing knowledge while keeping you updated with any changes legislation and good working practices.
Those who pass the course will get a CISRS Endorsed Certificate they can use to renew their CISRS Supervisor Card.
Course content
The course includes:
- Safety “toolbox talk”
- Relevant regulations and Codes of Practice
- NASC Guidance Notes
- Overviews of TG20, BSEN 13374, BS 5975:2008 Temporary Works Procedures and Work at Height, SG4 & Rescue
- Scaffold inspection and handover
- Competence CISRS Scheme
- Risk assessment, including practical exercises
- Method statement, including practical exercises
- RIDDOR and accident reporting, including practical exercises
- Behavioural safety.

Continual assessment and multiple-choice exam
What you get
CISRS Endorsed Certificate
Renewal of CISRS Supervisors Card, which the accredited centre will apply for on your behalf
Entry requirements
- One of the following:
- Current or recently expired CISRS Supervisor/Manager Card
- Current SMSTS Certificate and a CISRS Scaffolder or Advanced Card
- CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Supervisors Test pass within the last two years or an accepted exemption.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Valid form of ID. See accepted forms of ID.
